Alright. Alright. Im Back Again.

I currently have a 30 gallon tank with:
2 Blue Gourami
4 Tiger Barb (soon to be six)

I want to add more fish
So I found fish that we're compatible with both the gourami and barb in a tank of my size (yes, I did lots of research lol)
Now I've come up with this list of fish that I think are possible prospects lol.

Giant Danio (5 or 6 of course)
Blue Danio (5 or 6 of course)
Glowlight Danio (5 or 6 of course)
Boesemani Rainbowfish (I defintely want some of these)
Praecox Rainbowfish
Silver Apollo Shark
Skunk Cory Cat (5 or 6 of course)
True Rummynose Tetra
Black Phantom Tetra
Neon Tetra

I enjoy fish with bright colors and beautiful color variations. Dull fish bore me lol.

What numbers should I use of each and which fish could be done without?

Giant Danio (5 or 6 of course) wouldn't keep with some of the smaller fish listed here, far too dominating
Blue Danio (5 or 6 of course) Ok,
Glowlight Danio (5 or 6 of course) Ok
Boesemani Rainbowfish (I defintely want some of these) Ok with tankmates but fully grown fish need at least a 40G tank
Praecox Rainbowfish Ok
Silver Apollo Shark would depend on tank dimensions but tank size is probably too small. Small fish would be eaten.
Skunk Cory Cat (5 or 6 of course) Ok
True Rummynose Tetra Ok, provided no larger dominating fish are present
Black Phantom Tetra Ok, provided no larger dominating fish are present
Neon Tetra Ok, provided no larger dominating fish are present

Will keeping the silver apollo shark in this 30 gallon tank eventually stunt its growth?
Is there another fish I could add instead of the Giant Danio that is full of color and wont eat the tetra?
Will the adult gourami eat the tetra?

I'm not sure about stunting but apollo sharks can get to around 10", they are extremely quick skittish fish and you'll notice that they will be constantly banging themselves against the glass if the tank is tto small, ideally they require a 55G tank and need to be kept in a group, (min 3)

you could look at leopard, zebra or Pearl Danios or even celestial pearl danios which are also sold as galaxy rasboras.

are the gouramis Dwarf blue gouramis or blue three-spot gouramis ?

One of them is considered a three-spot, the other is a little different but still a blue three-spot lol.. i forgot the name unfortanutely.

Opaline ? I think the only fish that may be at risk are the neons, if they are bigger than the gouramis mouths then they should leave them alone.

i ended up buyin long fin zebra danio and long fin leopard danio as well as 3 australian rainbows and 2 more tiger barbs. all of them are larger than the gouramis mouth.
