Any tank mates sutible to go with my albino sharks n rainbow sharks

Don't think you should even have albino sharks in with rainbow sharks unless you've got a massive tank. Some1 correct me if I'm wrong.

I'd say anything that won't fit in their mouths as tank mates.

Mine hardly chase each other seem to get on fine
What size tank you got, I always wanted another shark to go with my rainbow but my pet shop said it would end in disaster!

There in a 90 litre at the min neva thought they would get on but as theres 2 albinos n 3 rainbows so maybe as a group there fine mate or mine have never bin anytrouble plenty of hiding places for them in the tank

4-foot minimum for one shark minnow, while yours may play nicely now they get bolder and more evil as they mature, five would need a massive footprint (well over 10x4 foot) and a really densely furnished floor to create line of sight barriers.

Upgrading soon as i was giving these by someone who gave up keeping fish when they moved the sharks are all fine at the moment in this tank

expect trouble :D

Whys this but we shall see im sure they will be fine

All shark minnows (that I know of) will get territorial with other bottom dwelling fish, especially those of a similar shape or colour, not just other shark minnows. Top of the spiteful league almost certainly belongs to the Harlequin Shark from Africa, I so nearly got one for my African setup, but in hindsight I probably saved the lives of my Lionhead Cichlids and various Synodontis.

wicko,

while you may have been lucky to date, and may even continue to be lucky in the future, it is highly unlikely. These fish have a reputation. They earned this reputation because many people have tried housing them similarly to how you have, and almost all of those people failed. Again, maybe you'll be lucky and have that one in a million chance, but chances are, you don't. In all likelihood, these fish are going to bully and kill one another. This forum is about helping owners keep their fish in the best possible conditions and giving those fish the best chances of living long, happy, healthy lives. Right now, you are not giving your fish much of a chance to do that at all. That's why I and the others strongly urge you to re-home them or return them to the fish shop if you cannot re-home them. That is what gives the fish the best chance at a long healthy life.

As advised by others your very likely to get problems, they are both territorial fish the rtbs also being more aggressive than the albino ruby shark (rainbow). In your clip at about 1 min 45 sec theres alot of fast movement and snapping from a rtbs and albino shark, that isnt actually playful thats fighting for dominance. Over time you will find them fighting more and more and 1 shark will out grow all the others then ranking down to the weakest.

I used to have 3 ruby sharks in my tank (advised by my lfs that a group of them was better, I dont shop there anymore) I had 1 that grew to full lenth another slightly smaller and a tiny 1, I never knew the other 2 were stressed by the more dominant 1 who chased and interupted them eating all the time until my new lfs that I shop at told me so I rehomed 2 with him.

Admittedly I also have 1 rtbs which wasnt bought until the ruby shark was full size so wouldnt be dominated by the more aggressive rtbs but they have the space and plenty hiding places as I have a 450l tank. Dont get me wrong, there not secret lovers but they keep themselves to themselves but this is only a 1 off for me as when the ruby eventually dies (hopefully many years to go yet) I wouldnt think of replacing her with another as the rtbs would simply bully it to death.

I would personally just keep 1 of either the rtbs or ruby shark otherwise that fighting will only get worse. Hope this helps.

Ok cheers guys ill pass the messeges on to my mate as its him asking the questions
