Hi everyone..
I got home from work today and noticed my 20gal tank has sprung a leak on one of the bottom seals...i know it needs to be repaired asap which i hope to do now...my problem is what to do with my fish.. I have a 5gal tank that is cycling so as it stands it isnt the best option... i was wondering if i could take my fluval u2 filter and put it into the 5 gal tank and then put my fish into it until i repair the other tank. i could also add water from my 20gal tank so it is the same water...please help :)

I believe by looking at the image it is Gold Label...recenelty used some of this to re stick a background that came of, and it was rubbish in my opinion.

have you got any big plastic containers that have not been used to store any chemicals?

set a filter and heater up in one of those to make a make-shift tank.

something like this.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CONTAINERS-5-PLASTIC-STORAGE-BOXES-LARGE-50LTR-BOX-/200342194720?pt=UK_Storage&hash=item2ea5534a20

I second that :) If you can find one that is close to your tank size, that would be really good.

I was quite lucky. i look online and found a cheap 60ltr tank with a stand and filter, heater and bit and bobs for £40. have since transferred water and filter from old tank to new one and transferred the fish too. they seem to be ok so far... what do i do about the plants? i currently have them in a bucket of tank water but not too sure what to do with them and how temp the fishes new home is..
