I have 2 males that i want to put in my 25 Litre heated/filterd tank. What type of dividers are people using? The tank is a triangle shape that fits into a corner of the room.
I have tried searching but its not working for some reason!

Sorry you have been ignored. If the commercial dividers are not working for you, I believe there may be a homemade one pinned. I will look for you later this morning--or you can look through the pinned material at the top of the forum.

Not had a good look at the commercial ones, with my tank being triangle the divider will only fit on one flush part of the glass the other end will be a corner. I have had a look at the one pinned at the top but with already having a better in the tank i wanted to cause minmal disturbance.

If you are near a craft store and have acess to silicone sealant, it should be pretty easy. You'll want to buy plastic canvas - the kind one might use for needlepoint - in a color of your choosing and, for better re-enforcement, you could also use the binding strips used to hold on plastic report covers (I can't remember the name of the dang things). What's nice is the divider won't slide around like with the clamps on store bought ones, you can trim the canvas so the top touches the hood to prevent jumping, and you can slide just the plastic canvas out for cleaning instead of having to dis-assemble the whole divider. Here is a pic of a VERY well done one from another forum; hopefully she doesn't mind that I'm linking to her photobucket account, since I'm not supposed to give links to competing forums.

Thanks for all that info :good: My betta is currently in the 25 litre tank i want to divide, i can temp re home him for a short while, any idea how long the silicone sealant takes to dry and how soon can the pair of males be returned to the tank?

I believe the absolute bare minimum is 48 hours, though longer is safer. I usually give it several days just to be extra sure; generally, if there is still an odor, it could use to sit for longer.
