Tank Dividers

well i am going to my cousins 2day and he has an extra 10 gallon...he saved me!! but i need some tank dividers...could someone give me an ida of how much those cost...i plan on seperating the tank into 3 different sections. Will that be ok for them? sounds good to me 3.3 gallons each betta

tank dividers are quite expensive and, quite frankly, pretty crappy. if i were you, i would try a DIY tank divider... i'm sure there's a DIY guide to them somewhere on this site... :)
 
Go to a craft shop buy some plastic canvas and then go to an office stationers and buy the book binders (look like slides that slip on the edge of the pages) edges, you will then need some aquatic sealant to glue the binders onto the side of the tanks, cut the plastic canvas to size. Leave the sealant to go off overnight and than slide the canvas into place .. fill your tank and there you have it.

Total cost should be -

Canvas - 12 sheets for £5
Binder edges - £1 for 8
Sealant - £5/6

You can multiple tanks with this lot, I have and do. :good:

Uhm.. yeah you could try making them.
I think if you want to make about 3 it's cheaper than buying them.

But if you want to divide up a ten gallon, you can get some dividers at petsmart for around 5 or 6 dollars each.
