Tank Divider - Not Impressed!

I had to buy a tank divider recently because the panda cory which shares a 35l with 3 pygmy cories and a betta had been nipped by the betta and lost over half its tail
I noticed that there didnt seem to be much circulation on the bettas side (fluval 2plus on the cory side) when i added myxazin earlier - check out the pics

I thought tank dividers were designed to allow circulation? Apparently not!

So ive fixed the problem by moving the filter close to the middle and having the water fall onto the divider, which divides it into the two partitions. Now there is plenty of circulation on both sides

I got the same divider as you. The so called 'circulation'' feature is rubbish, even with a strong filter the other side of the tank's water is completely still

Crap or what?! You'd think MA would sell decent stuff, but apparently not. Im just so not impressed with that place atm

oh really where from? i have tubing and a spray bar and elbows etc but nothing to attatch it to the fluval outlet.
mind you i'd rather have an external long term, looking at an eheim 2213. or do you think that would be too powerful for a betta?

you can buy an adapter from your LFS that's were i got mine

did your filter come with the attachment
so that you can make it spray bubbles in to the
tank it fits into the end of the blue out let

Try the diy route.
There is too much surface area on the divider you have in the tank for adequate water circulation.
I found the article below. Cheap as chips and practical. Will be trying it myself. Have the dividers already but need to get hold of a suitable plastic.
