how do i stick backing on?

i used to use selotape, but it looks messy, can i use sealant?

Selotape doesnt look messy, but yeh if you want you can use sealent on the ends

you can see the tape across the sides, but it cant be worse than it is for now, its stuck on with RED electric tape (temporary measure)

apparently if you smear a drop of vegetable oil on the glass then apply the background and with a scraper working from the middle outwards that holds it. never tried it myself though

Yeah it works well, i used silicone lubricant and an old bank card to get the bubbles out
