Table Salt For Plec?

My Pleco has really bad pop eye and is really bloated, his skin is splitting he's so swollen. I've almost finished a course of waterlife myxazin which has done absolutely nothing.

I read that putting the fish in salt water helps draw out the fluids.

1. Is this safe with a pleco?
2. If so how much salt do I add?
3. Can I use table salt instead of aquarium?

Plecs don't tolerate salt to well.
Epson salt baths help draw the fluids out.
Anti internal bacteria med by interpet for popeye.
Myxazin by waterlife says in there instructions that it only controls popeye, what ever that is meant to mean,.
You need to find out what caused the popeye so take a look a the link.

Table salt can contain small amount of potassium iodide, i think i've read somewhere this is very harmful to fish someone please correct me if im wrong. But Wilder has already given you the necessary steps to take.
