Lol, reptiles are great pets for the right people, I have 14 reps myself...Why do you think it shouldn't be kept as a pet when literally all other animals are and you appear to have no education about them whatsoever. You know in the wild fish flakes don't drop out the sky eitherok
but what lizard have you got
Nile moniter. That doesn't sound like a good pet either. I don't believe it should be kept as a pet. Some moniters are illegal in the US, are you sure you have one that is legal, it might be, I am not sure. What size is the terrium? sp? It must be huge. And in the wild moniters eat things like meercats, and bunnies...
Wrong, and I know a lot of nile keepers who can testify differently. Females stay smaller, around 5-6 feet, males 6-7 feet. I think you are speaking of another type of monitor, as I know a guy who raised a pair of them to 5 feet in the first year from hatchlings.steve irwin i watched that the other day with the nile monitor on they only get to 4ft sometimes seen in the wild at 6 max![]()

Yep, I'm actually going to major in herpetology in college, they make great pets, and I would argue a better pet then some dogs, like pitbulls.Lol, reptiles are great pets for the right people, I have 14 reps myself...Why do you think it shouldn't be kept as a pet when literally all other animals are and you appear to have no education about them whatsoever. You know in the wild fish flakes don't drop out the sky eitherok

Dogs are just as large as a nile monitor.. just a different type of animal. You just have to make a terrarium large enough for it, and thats what people do. Hell most tame down when large to become as tame as a dog and can be allowed to walk around the house a bit.Lol, reptiles are great pets for the right people, I have 14 reps myself...Why do you think it shouldn't be kept as a pet when literally all other animals are and you appear to have no education about them whatsoever. You know in the wild fish flakes don't drop out the sky eitherok

I knwo that about fish falkes, lol, but If it gets to 6 foot, who has the terrium size to keep it in? I am not educated on this subject at all. It just seems too large to be a "pet", my idea of a pet is different from yours.
