T Bar Cichlid

Just out of interest, how "RARE" are t-bar cichlids?
There is someone local to me asking £10 for a 2" fish as he says they are "RARE"

I wouldnt say there rare but there not exactly common. £10 for a 2" fish seems a bit on the high side for me but then if theres no where ese near you that sells them its a fair enough price.

My LFS sells 2" T Bars at £5or6 each and they're locally (or UK, can't remember) bred ones. I've only ever seen them in this one shop and I regularly visit 3 shops. I wouldn't call them rare though - probably uncommon, there's a lot rarer out there that I've seen.

Where abouts are you?

My LFS in Belfast sells them at a pair for £7.50; and they come in regularly.......

....hmm, must have a dedicated local breeder or something.

Not rare. I had to give mine away when i changed stock.

They're not rare, but they are very pretty fish! I love em!!

They are uncommon, not really rare. I am lucky enough to have a LFS that knows a breeder in the area.
