Oh sweet God, I'm always afraid that will happen to one of my tanks. Thanks for proving to me it's possible, now I'll be even more paranoid about it!
With my luck it would be the 80 gallon, too!

I'm always glad to hear people say they're small, most look pretty normal to me, since I see them all the time. The female I kept is definitely tiny though, she has a body length of about 1"! It's good to know other people think they're tiny and I'm on the right track

ha, yeah and now i have a ten gallon filter running on a 2.5 tank. you think that's overkill? nah.... -lol- luckily i had another tank setup with just a gourami so everybody is moved and doing well now.

definately little. the only fish i've seen/had that matches him in size is the female VT/CT i bought from petco who was about an inch and a quarter from nose to tail tip.

on a nicer note, i went out today to buy the 20g i've been planning on and told the guy how i lost the ten gallon last night, and he gave me a 10 for free

granted he sells the used tens for three dollars, but the used twenties are only 20 bucks, and two tanks for twenty bucks is awesome
