im looking at a small tank on ebay, but it comes with apparently 2 female swordtails, i have 1 male already and am happy with my stocking as it is and didnt really want the fish but they come with the tank, would they mix with mine as a 2 female to 1 male ratio without causing havoc in the tank, of course i might not get it but thought i'd ask before i bid on it

Since that is considered the ideal ratio for swordtails, it should not cause problems, aside for the male constantly sniffing them under the tail... Just that the fry may be present in the tank if none of the other fish eat them.
My pair seems to have lost interest in each other and my female isn't getting pregnant anymore either.

you can always ask them if they will sell the tank without fish? Worked for me!
