Swordtails

Hi everyone Neill here i am new to this and have had my tank only about six weeks :blush: but everything is going ok water tests all clear etc... three weeks ago i bought a pair of swordtails i don't no which species they look like goldfish but have a black strip down the middle of them, anyway last weekend i bought two blue guarmis (spelling)as i was admiring my handy work i noticed several fry swordtail!!! now they are swimming with the rest of the community how often do they breed? i hadn't planned for the breeding issue please any advise :unsure:

Depending on your temperature, you'll get a batch about every 26 days (and even up to 3/4 months after you've removed the male from the Fe... (as is usual with all live bearers)

Thanks for the quick answer i need too re-evaluate my game plane thanks once again.
 
Swords aint so quick, they are more at the 5-6 week mark..

Females hold sperm for up to 6-8 months so can have 6 batches without a male being present.
