Swordtails And Platys

Just a quick question.

Would a Platy mate with a Swordtail?

I would assume they would being very similar types of fish.

I believe mollies will breed with platies too though I personally have never seen it. I currently have some dwarf platies in with a couple swordtails and they do not bother one another so I can say that while they can interbreed, they don't always.

most livebearers will try to breed with different species, but very few will produce fry.

molly will not cross with platy's or swords
