Swordtail Sex Change

Hi, I find this to be a very interesting subject.....I have bred swordtails, I put 3 females in to a tank with a male betta to keep him company, now 2 of them appear to have changed sex, so in the tank now is 1 female and 2 male, I have been keeping an eye on these fish and although the female is plump there have been no fry (unless the betta has eaten them all) so I would say that although them appear to change sex they are sterile.

agian that might just be another late blommer accident. We want to get some sort of proof or something. And like Annastasia said, We're not doubting you or anyother person who's gone through something like this. I've had a Late bloomer before, but I knew he was a male because he had no gravid spots. But he was as big as the female adults before his male organs grew in.

I've got a platy that looks like it was going to be a male, and decided to be female.. It has what looks like a gonopodium, but if you look closely, you can see that it's 1/2 females bottom fin, 1/2 gonopodium..

I believe it is a female though. It's weird looking.
