Not bad for her first lot, and i think there might be 2 albinos there..well i'm not to sure, they've got white eyes, and what looks like red, but it's hard to tell as they're so small.
I will try and get some pics, but they've only just come out of the plastic breeding trap.
awww congrats on your new babies! The pictures came out very clear! I do see the difference between the fry coloration and it will be interesting to see how they develop! Keep us updated!
hey just a little tip i would reccomend keeping them in breeder tap for 3 weeks of there life as they wont grow fast at all in 60l as they have no knolladge to find there food u are offering and in breeder tap there is much less places to search for food
I don't like keeping fry in breeder traps as i have had bad experiences with them before...the fry always manage to get out, and i don't like loosing them, i try to save as many as i can. With the food i always try to put in bits of algae, crunching up food so that it is everywhere, and even adding bits of algae tabs. Obviously doing it this way ends up with a lot of mess....but i would prefer to do that then find they have gotten out. Also i do sometimes put them in a breeder net, which like you say there are less places for them to search for food. But i have just moved my 2 angels in with the discus, so that i could take the other platy fry and put them in to the community tank, which now just has swordtails and platies in, so they won't get eaten. So i can now move these new fry in to net
If you experience escape artists among your fry, make sure you have lots of heavy cover in the main tank or move the fry to another tank. Fry will only be able to escape when they are tiny, exactly when they are most vulnerable.
A late update
But there they are now, with the older fry...
You can see in the next 2 photos a fry with no colour, 3 from this lot still have no colour, i don't know why, either they are still developing or i have a cross mix.
