Swollen Eye Convict Cichlid

I've got a male and female convict cichlid and a few corydora in my tank. they get on very well with each other. my male and female convicts spawned a few weeks ago without any problems, i seperated the fry and there growing well, my female convict has been acting quite wierd this week though, its been sitting on the bottom of the gravel and hidden behind the filter even thoguh there is plenty of caves etc in the tank. whilst looking at it tonight i've noticed that one of its eyes is very swollen and cloudy , ive looked around the forum and cannot find anything to help me in the right direction. my water is fine and nothing has changed in the tank (decor). i know that there is something wrong with my convict, i will be looking forward to getting a reply from the forum thanks shaun.

Could be pop eye as a symptom of another disease. You're right, something is wrong
Do you have a hospital tank? Move him if possible and add some antibacterial meds and keep the water stats steady Keep an eye out for your other fish too

Have they had a lovers tiff "as cichlids are very good at this?

Have you checked all the readings of the water?
