Swollen Electric Blue Gourami

Hi all,

New to this forum but hoping someone can help in diagnosing my Gourami's problem. The little blighter has had swelling for a couple months now, and we initally thought it was a case of swim bladder, so we treated him for this. But a worrying bulbus "thing" has developed on his underside and he is swimming very awkwardly.

I have attached a pic.

All help gratefully received.

most probably dropsy. mine all went the same way befor dying. give him an epson bath

Never done an Epsom Salt Bath before? How do I go about it? Also, I see mentioned something about a modern anti biotic might help cure it. Is this a special fish anti biotic?
