That one looks good but costs an extra £80, its up to you at the end of the day.

And it will do the same as the DIY set up, only benifit I can see is you wont have to mess about with a FE.

Just to update the price list, I received confirmation from the German seller of the Regulator and Solenoid and combined postage to the UK is 14.50 Euro's. (£12.14 in todays exchange rate)

So the total price for the whole set up is £130.26, I guess this is a good price as you get everything you need and the 2K FE should last a long time before you have to refill.

Have you looked at aquaessentials?
ive seen a similar setup, and this doesnt seem too bad either.

all you need to add on is a FE, and i think your good to go?

Thanks for the links, once you add a FE it would be about the same cost and also would have to buy a bubble counter which is only a little extra cost. The only thing is (for me) that I would prefer a Atomizer over a Diffuser.

But if this was not an issue it would save the hastle of ordering all the bits from different sellers, your way it could all come from the same shop :good:

Nothing to worry about.

Thanks, I will get it on order then :)

Does this sound about right? Co2 comes on 1 hour before lights on, then Co2 goes off 90 mins before lights out?

Some people do this but I have never understood why. My Co2 comes on an hour before the lights do and switches off when the lights do (a min before or after but you get the point lol) In everything I have read and researched I have never seen anything which says the plants require less co2 after a certain amount of time. In short I'd suggest keeping the co2 for the amount of time you have the lights on
The idea is that plants do not need co2 when its dark, so if it switches on 2 hours before the lights when they do come on the co2 is at its optimum for the plants usage.. Also switch co2 off a hour before the lights so that co2 is used up by the plants thus removing excess co2 which would not be used once its dark.
