Surprised Drop From Red Platy

Hi all

Well after doing the weekly tank/filter clean i found a guppy fry in the external

Then i noticed my red platy was showing her full on birthing tube,i managed to trap her and she had 18 fry in there.

This is her first drop since i got her a few months ago,because shes a deep red/orange her gravid spot isn't visable

I've let her back in the tank now

Umm i've lost count

I know theres about 50 guppy fry,platy fry probably around 160 ish probably more,16 new cory fry + more eggs just hatching.

Congrats on the fry' Its always exciting when a new batch of fry arrives. I have a hi fin black wag platy that its ready to pop any day now. Are you breeding a certain variety of platy or just breeding for fun?
