Superglue Help

Is the aim to make the rhizomes to be relatively close/touching the surface of the object I want to attach the plants to, or is to make them tightly but not crushing in contact with the object?

I was thinking of those little U shaped pins you use to pin metal cage fencing to wood. They won't have to be buried in far and can be easily removed if it doesn't need to be holding the rhizomes tightly.

I think I will try fishing line but I think I'd just have to order some as I don't have any fishing shops around here.

Thanks for the advice!

Which has been the best method for you?

Superglue is the best option in my opinion.

Hi, butting in again I have 2 questions.

1. What are rhizomes?

2. Is it ok to plant plants such as Java Fern or do you have to attach them to bogwood?

rhizomes are the loon root like looking thing that they leaves come out of.

Java fern has to be attached to something ABOVE the line of the substrate. if it is planted into the substrate it WILL rot. same goes for bolbitis and anubias.

Bum ok cheers, looks like I'll be getting some glue then :)
