Addicted and in Therapy
I'm so pysched!!! As many of you know, my nitrites have been very high during my cycle, and I was extremely lucky not to lose any fish. I had been doing 10% water changes every day, feeding less, etc., and nothing was changing.
But... *Drumroll*.... I tested tonight....... and nitrites ARE AT ZERO!!!!
At first I thought my testing strips were lying.... they didn't turn bright pink immediately!! So I waited... and waited... and it stayed white! YEY!
Still didn't believe it.... used a different test kit, stayed blue! Ahhahahaha I'm soooo happy. It's been such a struggle.
Now I can officially say I have cycled my first tank!!!
I didn't share the news earlier, but I also now have two amazingly gorgeous Dwarf Gouramis. They made it through the end of my cycle also, and are happy as can be.
My tank - 10 gallons
2 Zebra Danios
4 Long Finned Zebra Danios
1 Fire Red Male Dwarf Gourami
1 Neon Blue Male Dwarf Gouarmi
