I really thought my yellow betta, Mr Bojangles, was ill this morning. I couldn't find him to start with. He was hiding behind his cave. Spoke to him, fed him.. no wasn't having it. After a while I decided to give him a clean out so I did. As soon as I pulled his tank forwards he cheered up! I had stacked a hospital tank on top of his tank and he didn't like it. He is now in clean water in his little bungalow with no one upstairs and is much happier.
Do they sulk like that? Never had one do it before!

Hee, I'm sure they do, they're very good at communicating when they're disgruntled. Drew's tank lives in the study where this computer is and I'm about a day behind on his water change. He's been alternating between sitting on the gravel with his back to me, or sitting on his plant staring daggers into the back of my head. I finally had a chance to sort his tank out tonight and now he's fluttering up and down happily. At least they're easily pleased!

Bless him Liz!!! Glad he's cheered up, they really are funny little things!
