I've got a 100 litre tanganikyan setup as many of your will already know...

I've had this brainwave/crazy idea call it what you will lol.. to remove the Brevis from my setup (currently have 2 males, 2 females) and put them in there own little species tank maybe even increase the numbers slightly.

My question is... what's the very MINIMUM sized tank I could have for 4 brevis, possibly more? I've seen some guy on here who uses a Biorb and to start with i thought that would be too small especially in terms of surface area of the base for shells etc?

Anyways what would be the minumum litres etc for these guys. I've seen a Biube on Ebay which is 35 litres, gives more space than a Biorb, Pic here-

Let me know your views please guys :)

about 40litres (approx 10gallons) but it is also surface area you need. A 2ftx12inx12in tank would be fine for the 4 of them. If you want more than a longer or wider tank would be better.

ahh ok. I dont want to buy another biggish tank tho, so would like a Cube shaped tank be no good?

Seen a 40 litre cube tank, about 30cm x 30cm

you could have a pr in a 30cm cube but if you had 2 prs they might fight
