I've suddenly become very fascinated with shrimp tank after going through some pictures on here of them!

I have a juwel korall 60 sitting there, roughly 54 litres I think.

Would this be suitable for shrimp?
I know next to nothing about shrimp so all advice is welcome!

54 litres is plenty big enough for a good shrimp set up, some might say it's too big but with lots of shrimp in would be an interesting set up.
Shrimp are quite entertaining

Thanks,

What type of shrimp would be suitable?
I was thinking maybe red cherry on a bed of black sand or small black gravel with some bogwood, heavily planted.
I have it pictured in my head, not sure if it'll turn out how I see it though.

Cherries would look great on a black substrate, though there may be more interesting or unusual species you could keep
Ask on the invertebrate forum, they know their stuff there
