Suitable Hikari that Haps and Labs will both eat

Hi, What Hikari food can I feed my mixed Malawi tank? I have labs with haps and peacocks, I was feeding Hikari cichlid excel but my haps wotn eat it, only the peas and labs will, my shop only sells Hikari, I can get either gold or staple, which would be better? I picked the labs because they are omnivores but I dont want to bloat them with to much protein.

(Please don't lecture about mixing, i'm experimenting with omnivores and carnviores, I knew this when I took the gamble).

For all Africans a spirulina based food works wonders. I personally use Cobalt brand, mainly the spirulina pellets mixed with small cichlid pellets. Never had an mbuna bloat on these pellets.

Did a quick scan of both the foods you listed and neither seems to contain spirulina, so I wouldn't use either one. What other types does your pet store carry? Would it be possible to get them to special order you some cobalt brand foods?
