It's a long time since I've posted here. I was recently browsing eBay for something new to add to my tank and came across these . . . http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=190145011660

They are replica shopping trolleys. I have asked the seller and they say that they are made of steel and plastic with no solvents or glue used. I'm assuming that this would be suitable, but I thought that I'd ask the experts first!

i dont like the looks of them but i guess they would be ok as long as they dont rust.

Well each to his own i suppose, i'm not one for novelty items in a fish tank. But yeah, i don't see any problems, can't imagine it would rust, if they are designed to be put in a fish tank

Ya, so long as theres no copper compounds on them and they don't rust they should be alright.

Thanks for the responses guys. I'm setting up a better tank for my Male Betta and thought it would be a good idea to try a theme, such as the bottom of a lake or a river. Going to cover the bottom with various types of gravel and random stones. Also thinking of adding this shopping trolley and other bits and pieces. It's probably something that hasn't been tried before and I thought it may look quite good.

Awesome you could make tesco's carpark!!! I like the idea there's always shopping trolleys in out rivers you might have to pull a wheel off to make it look authetic though!! lol x

You'd also need to add a few mini chavs hanging around the car park

were not judging you. your tank is your tank and don't let someone else change your vision unless its gonna be harmful.

Personally a trolly in a tank will be a bit like a lake in a small town! for tropical i think would be wierd but goldfish it might be kinda cool.

it just makes me laugh people make these things. only the other day i saw this ebay post in america for stick on sunroofs for the car.... I mean people will make ANYTHING!!
