Hi,

I have a 55G that I want to add plants to

I currently have one anubias var. nana, java moss, java fern, and hornwort. I don't have any fancy lights yet, or CO2. Are there any other plants out there that do good in these conditions? Should I just get more of the same? I prefer to not have floating plants, but I will consider it if they don't grow too fast. I had water sprite, but it left all my other plants in shade. I gave them to my gold fish for a treat. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

To add, my substrate is flourite(i think) and fine gravel. I also have plenty of rocks and decorations that plants can be anchored to.

I bought some crypt today, also more hornwort, another anubias and some sort of bulb plant. I don't know how well it will do, but it was cheap so I thought I would give it a try.

Try some hyrgrophila...i have it in my tank under only 30watts of light (46G) and it is growing like crazy...I've pruned it twice already. Anacharis (elodea) is doing well, but, it is not as thick as it would be under stronger light. SH
