Suggest Something Interesting For A 90 Litre Tank.

My 90 litre tank will soon be empty and I am wondering what to have in it... Maybe a pair of something with a view to breeding? Anything considered.

Soft acidic water, with a high temperature of 28-32oC, you are on about Mikrogeophagus ramirezi? M.Ramirezi and M.altispinosus both have many commons names, some used interchangeably.

My ph is roughly 7.2 so i guess they're out. I suppose i should have said that in the first place. lol.

A PH of that level should be ok, just make sure the temperature is up to standard, adding bog wood would help too.

There is bogwood in there, so maybe that would lower it a bit over time?

This is why I advocate the use of scientific names, it stops the confusion, I've seen both species labled as Butterfly Rams online and in the shops; M.altispinosus should be kept at 24-26[sup]o[/sup]C and M.ramirezi at 28-32[sup]o[/sup]C.

I believe its the long fin version of the GBR.
