I know they only eat food from the bottom,but can u buy special pellets for them in the uk??

Seems wheatgerm or soya based ones aren't very good for them.

slowly .liner should arrive monday but still waiting on the uv as well ,was out of stock when i placed the order

weathers been a bit off last couple of days,me thinks mother nature wants to fill it before the liner goes in
all the renderings done ,just need to point up the outside and finish the planters
lay some paving,tidy up ,blah blah blah itl get there eventualy

No, they'll just pick off snails in the pond, don't worry about providing them, they are not a main part of their diet.
