Hiya's,
Just started pumping out some water in a 150g tank, i added some wood the weekend so knew some tannin was gonna leak out, i don't mind the colour but the boss (fiancee lol) likes crystal clear water, anyways ..............
I could hear a dull splashing sound so checked for pipe leaks etc, not a drop dripping, then it dawned on me, we got 4 clowns tuesday and one had a liking of going down the hole in a rena smart-heater !!!
The poor swine is the largest of the 4 we got, how the heck he got in there i don't know, well i quickly grabbed the heater off the holder asap i figured where the splash sound was coming from, only way i could get him out was remove the bottom guard and blow like stink to dislodge him
He shot out backwards (as the heater stands upright he had swam head first down into it) he swam away and hid, after a few more seconds he appeared on the front corner of the tank resting on his fins, his gills are going but even wiggling a finger on the glass by him won't make him move
As i just looked to my right where the tank is he's moved real slow to the back of the tank
Anything i can do ?? hoping he's just shocked somewhat and perks up come feeding time
Ohh i can't see any marks/damage on him
If i lose him she'll kill me
lol
Just wish the darn external heaters would of arrived today
Cheers
Tony
