my little guy livingston is doing much better thanks to all of your advice. he is completly back to normal now. he has started his staring and dancing routine when i start to study. he is bad i have to move to the other side of the room to work because often he is swiming in front of me to get me to pay attention to him. he gets mad at me when i pack up the computer to go to class. i will often be gone for like 3-3 half hours so he protests me leaving all the time. he has also gone back to flaring at my laptop when i am home. These are things he hasn't done in a while and it is because of your advice i am convinced he is still with me. even if he is a royal pest

i just wanted to thank you guys.
i also wanted to ask if any of the rest of you have fish that behave like mine does?

thank you he is a happy boy. i think we make each other happy, i don't have a room mate so he keeps me company though the day, he makes him happy and i do my very best to make sure he stays happy too.

i'm gonna take one of my betta fish to uni when i go

i got him because i by the luck of the draw i ended up alone. i needed a little companion that was allowed by the school. i am allowed to have up to a 10 gallon tank my little buddy is in five gallons. he is a great compaion. he gets jealous of my computer though and will flare it often. he sits on my desk and stares at me when i work. and watches tv with me when i relax. on a rare occasion i will come back from class he has started a bubble nest, it is something he hasn't done in a little while though. i am hoping now that he is feeling better he will gift me with another nest. i hope when i get home that maybe i will get a girl or a boy to keep him company in a tank next to his. something to keep him amused when i go to work besides the kitty.
