Hello to everyone, I'm Tom from Wolvo, studying Plant Biology by the sea, but living with my family in the holidays.

With an endless slow summer I set up an aquarium namely to grow plants. (I've only grown land tropicals till now)

I do love reading through forums like this, and probably finding more reasons to put a creature in with the greenery ( It sounds boring with just plants I know  )

Welcome to the forum-enjoy :good:

I have lied on my 1st post

There are half a dozen Ramhorn snails in the tank which I took from my pond. They've been happy so far, and not visibly eaten any plants yet =)

Went for a vague Amazon oxbow lake or backwater, but 3 plants in there, one I believe is Ceratophyllum, I bought when I first set up the tank as test dummies, which all seem to have stayed happy and grown abit.

I dont have the heart to throw them now.

The plants I've put in there since are:

Limnobium spongia
Echinodorus tennellus
Echinodorus cordifolius radicans (Which in hind sight should be emerged I think)
Salvinia auriculata
