Quick history of my new tank, 36 gal bow, cycled with bio spira and 6 serpae tetras, added slowly 2 honey gouramis, 3 silver dollars and 3 ick spreading clown loaches. The Loaches started the ick, 2 weeks ago, began treating with Quick Cure. Lost the loaches immediatly and still can't rid two of the serpaes of the ick. i went to full doses after no improvement the first five days of the recomended half doses. Today I am the 2 week mark, except for the white spots on the 2 tetras the other fish seem fine, frolicing, eating etc...
WHY ISN"T THIS MEDICATION WORKING? Yes I took the carbon out of the filter and have been doing 25% water changes every few days to keep water parameters good. Brought tank temp up to 80 - 82. I'm 99% sure it is ick and not something else. COULD IT TAKE 3 WEEKS TO TREAT? MORE? I'm really distressed b/c I worked real hard to do all my research and do things right. I would love some expert advice and look forward to being a part of this forum to help fix my problems and maybe help others.

I always gravel vac before I redose the med to help clear some of the parasites away, turn temp up to 30 add some salt now you don't have no scaless fish one tablespoon to 5 gal, it took me to courses when i had it once, it's a tough thing to get rid of in one go, here is a link for you.
