Strange Worms In Tank

When I stir the gravel in my tank, there are wrigling little white worms. I just want to know, if they can harm my fish or me, and whether they are part of the biological system that is supposed to be in the gravel. My dad's tank contains the same kind of worm.What are they???

i'm not really sure but maybe parasites and yes they can harm your fish

Those worms are probably planaria worms. They dont harm fish. They come from too much uneaten food in the gravel. Clean you tank more. Baby fish can eat this worms, there is some kind of product to remove them and you could add some salt if your fish can take it. Stay calm dont worry.
