3 of 4 tanks have what i am about to describe.

white bumps on fins, body, and sometimes eyes. treated with ick meds with no effect, fluke tabs minimal effect, and now copper sulfate which seems to be working. just wondering if anyone can shed some light on this breakout.

some of the little white bumps fell off when i put an infected fish in a jar then i could see them swimming in little circles.

ive treated with CuSO4 for 3 days now at a very concentrated level (as advised by a 30yr LFS owner) and the white bumps are almost gone.

the fish that survived the white bump attack are doing just fine and the copper has had no adverse affects yet but i will be doing water changes to get it out asap as soon as the bumps are all gone

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Not saying it is this, but look up lymphocystis diesease and see if that is similar in appearance.

Or could be calcium deposits.

If he advised meds, did he say what he thought they were being treated for?

i saw a pic of a fish with that i dont think thats it. that looks like a cancer what i have swims in water after it fell off a fish.

thanks for the quick reply

So is it like a parasite/worm then? If its free swimming after falling off?
