strange little guppy may need a pal

Hiya folks,
I was just wondering about my wee guppy, He has started to chase all the other fish around my tank, he chases the silvertip tetra and the aebra danios and the X ray tetras, then he goes up to the side of the tank and chases his reflection up and down, up and down for ages.

Does anyone think that he is lonely? Do you think that he needs a wee pal to play with, I think he is a flame guppy, (is that right?) he is all red and orange, very nice.

Any suggestions.

Is he chasing as in playing or chasing as in aggressive? If he is only playing then I wouldn't be too concerned but if he starts nipping the other fish then I would be worried. I have always kept my fish in at least pairs within their type.

If you want to get another guppy to keep him company it certainly won't hurt...and after all....its another excuse to buy fish!!

i don't think having companions would hurt i used to have a couple of guppies and they played all day in the current from the filter

if you get females you'll end up with lots fo fry tho so it might be ebtter tog et anotehr male for him.
