Stones For Tank. Beech Pebbles

Beautiful tank setup!!! I'm bookmarking this for future reference, it's along the lines of what I'm going to try to set up myself!

Looking good!

Just to add to your knowledge that I'm sure you're starting to build up at break neck speed, the vinegar test is to see if the stone reacts to something acidic, which is a good indicator as to whether the stones will raise the PH levels in your tank, which can be a problem. If you want to be extra sure, use a PH test to see what your PH is, and then check it again for the next few weeks, every other day or so and see if it rises :)

They look fine though. River stones generally are ok, but always test! :)

Why thankyou very much Arvlyn. Much appreicatedZoe

Lol, I'd love some, but I suspect it wouldn't be worth the postage, compared to going to my local garden centre (10 mins walk away) and buying some :)

I'd love to set up a river tank for some hillstream loaches, with a fast flowing current and lots of stones and small boulders. One day, when I've got my other tanks in order :)
