Stone Cave

I want to make a small stone cave for a hiding place but want it to look natural.  I have been looking at resin ones from the LFS that look half realistic but was wondering what sort of stone people use to build their own and if anyone had any photos for inspiration.  I may need more than one as it will be a breeding place for kribs and a hiding place for Cory in the future.

Use slate, it's inert flat and you can silicone several layers together to get the height/ shape you require

In my 20g tank below I have 3 "caves" for the cory. Two are flat rocks balanced on two others, and another is a branch. I have similar setups in all my tanks.
