Morning!

I have a 29 gallon tank (19 inches high) with an Aquaclear 50. My current stocking is 10 neons, 4 albino corys, and 2 Bolivian Rams. While sometimes individuals venture into the mid range of the tank for a few moments, all these fish tend to hang out at the bottom of the tank. I need a TRULY MID TO UPPER RANGING (of the tank) fish that would be compatible. Please give me some ideas. I think I want two interesting center piece type fish but would entertain any of your great ideas.

Thank you.

Hatchet fish would fit nice in that tank :) A good school of about 10. Or you might be able to get one of the smaller panchax species in there but depends not sure which ones. Though the main concern of this is how long the tank is?

If its a 3ft tank you could consider Angels because of the extra deep tank.

i've read that angels might eat neons, so i wouldn't get them.

agree about the hatchets. :good:

but if you get the hatchets, make sure that you have a lid on the tank, and when you are cleaning the tank make sure you watch them really carefully, as they can fly.
