Cycleing will fly by and it's so worth it!

Glad we helped you out and to me it sound like a nice easy peacefull and very colourfull pretty set-up.

In the mean time learn all you can about the fish you want to keep as listed in my above post. They are all nice and easy so you shouldn't hit any problems, this site is amazing for knowlage and never be afraid to ask if you have a quastion (we all love a good stocking question lol)

Edit: Betta boy i see were you are coming from with the shrimp but i think 5 should be fine depending on the specise of course and how often that specise breeds Harlequins are fine in fives too but i suppose 6 wouldn't make too much difference, at least we have the types of fish settled.

yea, thanks so much all, just wish i had come here first, and done a fish-less, however Biorb REALLY need to state that in they set-up manual;

Not too bad for a first timer eh!!

I like it very simple but attractive to look at, and it allows swimming space for the fish

thanks... im sure the GF will come home and roll her eyes at it and have me re-work it all (she hates putting her hand in the tank, the tigers bite hehe)

Do you feel the little round plastic shrubs are taking away ground space for the frogs/snails/shrimp

If you can find a real moss ball then i would replace them with that as shrimp love to pick through them but other wise a few smaller ones should be fine.

My parner has no say in the tanks lol i even decorated his little betta tank for him and he loves it lol
