I have a 55 gallon tank set up for several years. It has been stocked with peaceful community fish. This is what I have it stocked with
6 Albino Cories
3 Pristilla's
4 Scissor Tails
11 neon Tetras
1 Neon Blue Gourami
1 Sunset Gourami
1 Kuli Loach
1 Butterfly Loach
1 Farlowella Catfish
2 Snails
3 Ghost Shrimp
Could I add a couple of Angelfish to this mix with no problems? I was warned that Angelfish were aggressive, but I had one eons ago in a 20 gallon tank and I don't remember it being aggressive.
I have a 75 gallon that I am going to set up in a few months. I have to wait on its set up until after I take a planned trip. So I have time to think and re-think a lot of things. I wanted to put a group of 4 to 6 Pictus Catfish in the 75 gallon along with some Angelfish. Now I read that Angels can't be kept with Pictus. Which is kind of odd to me, as when I had the 20 gallon, I had both in the same tank and I can't remember any issues at all. I know the Pictus are swift moving fish and Angels are not. But the Pictus live in the bottom of the water column and the Angel in the top. So it seems to me that it should be okay. The Angels are too big for the Pictus to make a snack of. I know I can't have them in the tank I have now and I have always wanted them.
I would appreciate any input on this subject. Thanks in advance!
