2 zebra danio
1 baloon belly molly
1 velvet wag swordtail
1 black molly
2 tetras not sure what kind but they have red on the tips of the tail and fins
2 otocincos will be added a month or so later after full stocked.

is this to much for a 10 gallon aquarium ?

also does the little shrimp that you can buy do they bully on smaller fish ?

2 zebra danio. Honestly, these little guys really need more room to stretch their hyper active little fins. :)
1 baloon belly molly With a regular Molly I'd say no, but the balloon sort maybe different I'm not entirely sure. :/
1 velvet wag swordtail These guys get 4-5 inches when they are fully grown so will need a larger tank
1 black molly These get bigger and that's too big for your tank
2 tetras not sure what kind but they have red on the tips of the tail and fins Depends on species. Post pics and we should be able to ID it for you :)
2 otocincos will be added a month or so later after full stocked. Dont do this until youve sorted out your tank please

Overall, your schools are small and some will need bigger tank.
Sorry if I sounded harsh. :)

The Zebra Danio and Tetra's will need a bigger school, at least 6. They are also too active for a 10 gallon :/ They're more suited to 15 gallon+ tanks sadly.
Apart from that, follow TallTree01's advice for the rest. :)

Can't be too sure about upsetting people. Some people just post on here for endorsements of their setups. Thankfully you're not one of those people! :D

when you reference to 1 inch of fish per gallon of water is that for all 3 levels or total. what i mean is top ,middle and bottom swimmers ?

It is really only a guideline. I don't often use it. I go by instinct :ninja:
It means that for all levels ie a 10 gallon could theoretically stock 10 inches of fish. But I couldn't put a single 10 inch fish in there. It would barely fit! :D

ok that explains a lot lol i thought it was 10 inches per section of fish. time to make the wife and kids really pick lol

Or you could seize opportunity too get a much bigger tank.
Making wife choose could wind you up too sleeping on the couch
Which could be ok too if tank is near couch!!

yea im thinking of a bigger one in the next few months I might go with a 150 gallon if my old floors can hold it lol

150 gallons is alot of weight...my 180gal is on concrete in basement.
for most large tanks i find they are 90% basement tanks, garage tanks.
get biggest tank you can afford to setup.... the bigger the better IMO
