I have a 15 gallon tank and was looking to add to my stock once I'm back fro holidays. There are currently 2 zebra danios, 4 glowlight danios and an american flag fish.

I was thinking that I could add 3 leopards to roundout the zebra school, and 2 more glowlights. I also want to add another female american flag fish.

This would put me up to 21 inches of fish per gallon, which I thought would be fine since I now run both an Aquaclear 30 and Eheim 2208 Aquaball internal. My water is very clean and I do a big water change at least once a wekk. Am I dreaming, or does anybody have any better suggestions.

Thanks!

PS the fish will be added slowly and the tank has been cycled for over 2 months when I start adding more

I think you should be ok with that but I would put in more zebras rather than the leopards they are different fish and the zebras will school better :) But yeah I agree with you that you will be okay if you have 2 filters and only an inch over that rule with small fish you are fine :)

I always thought that leopard and zebra danios were the same species, just different patterns. If they are the same, they can be mixed, but if they breed, the offspring will be "mongrels".

Zebras and leopards are the same fish just hybrids of each other. They will school together, they just have different markings.

Joe
