I currently have a 30 gallon tank with an aquaclear 50 HOB filter. I have sand as the substrate and a lot of rocks to hold my anubias in there. I have about 8 anubias nana in the tank. The fish i have in there right now is
-9 tiger barbs
-5 zebra danios
-3 serpae tetras
-1 blue gourami
What would be some good ideas to stock this tank? I was thinking about adding some cory cats.

I also have a 10 gallon with a really bad filter. It sucks. It also has a light and sand in it. I wanted to stock that one too, but only with super hardy cheap fish. Any ideas for the 10 gallon??

My focus right now is the 30 gallon though. It looks pretty empty to me.

I think you might be at upper limit for stocking now. barbs are juvinilles most likely one full grown just the barbs will be 16-20" of fish. I might be wrong if your overfiltering your water. Sure more will comment on stocking.

I don't think you can overfilter your water that's like saying you've washed your car too much

The tank seems close to it's limit already & the Blue Gourami might have problem with the Serpaes & Tigers nibbling at his feelers. Corys aren't recommended for this setup either since they'd likely be bullied by the same fish.

I'm pretty sure he meant overfiltering as in using a good amount of filtration may allow for more fish. If so I agree.

The OP could up the number of the same fish he has but not many fish go well with Serpaes & Tigers.

ya overfiltering to me is have extra filter capacity above and beyond what would suffice. (allowing more fish)

the tank looks peaceful to me. I've seen no nipping so far and they all school together a lot.
