Hey all,

My boyfriend is wanting an aquarium all because of me (glad it's not a me or the fish situation). He's wanting fish that will look good and are fairly easy to care for and has decided he definitely wants diamond tetras and maybe neon tetras. The tank he's looking at is a 26US gal long that comes with a filter but I don't know which filter it is.
I don't think a school should be less than 10. So is 10 of diamond and neon okay for stocking or too much for this size tank?

Regards

Just the diamond tetra now. Is 12 the max would you say?

12-15, but the best test is to start with say... 12 and then once they're fully grown check the nitrates each week before a water change. If they're staying relatively low between then I'd add a few more. :)

I agree with that :) .
Thank you.
Stocking density isn't my strongest point
