I just cant seem to be able to make up my mind! Okay these are my ideas for the 75 gallon:

1 oscar
1 red tailed shark
1 fire mouth

or...

5 corydoras
2 rams
3 angels
2 yoyo loaches
and possibly the red tailed shark

or.........

1 opaline gourami
2 gold gouramis
2 rams
3 black kulhi loaches
1 angel fish
5 corydoras
1 bristle nosed pleco
and again possibly the red tailed shark

Which combination to you like best? I am not sure which one, and if they are actually good combinations. What do you guys think? :D

Any ideas? :D
Oh and I was wondering if a school of bala sharks, and clown loaches would be okay.
How big do Striped Peacock Eels get?

I just cant seem to be able to make up my mind! Okay these are my ideas for the 75 gallon:

1 oscar - would be fine by itsenf
1 red tailed shark - too vulnerable here
1 fire mouth =unsure

or...

5 corydoras
2 rams
3 angels - 2 might work
2 yoyo loaches - you'd need more, unsure with angels
and possibly the red tailed shark - too agressive

or.........

1 opaline gourami - aren;t they agressive towards own species like bettas? Unsure.......
2 gold gouramis
2 rams - at your risk with an angel
3 black kulhi loaches
1 angel fish
5 corydoras
1 bristle nosed pleco
and again possibly the red tailed shark - too agressive

Which combination to you like best? I am not sure which one, and if they are actually good combinations. What do you guys think? :D

I keep 3 peacocks now. Depending on which spiney peacock, probably 8-12 inches, but plan for 12. Some can get longer. Balas are too big, as clown loaches will be.

You could Do a few different setups here. But none you mentioned will work for reasons i posted by your quotes.]

A Great replacement for a RTBS is the False Flying fox/False Saimese Algea eater. Cheap and fun. Full of character. Shark like shape.

You could do say

2x angels (make it a pair. make sure they swim together and enjoy company in the LFS)
1x False Flying Fox
8x khuli loaches
12x cory

Or, you could do an oddball set up.

do....

1x African Brown knife
2-4x Peacock eel
1x Senegal bichir
1x False Flying fox
for the top you could do
5x African butterfly fish (amazing dudes.)

and then do something like a specialty/brittlenose pleco.

I dunno. Look into it. It's all you.

The thing is I cant replace the rtbs because I already have one cause the guy at the lfs said that she would do fine in a comunity tank that was only a 29 gallon, i even told the guy the fish already in the tank.

Would angels and a rtbs be okay together? :D

Meh... I'd like to say yes... but they're both in the "Agressive" fish section. you having a RTBS makes things harder.

Do you wish to keep it? Or would you return it to a LFS for another setup?

I like all the fish you suggested. Would this be a okay combination?

2 angel fish
1 rtbs
3 Striped Peacock Eels
2 rams
5 corydoras
1 Senegal bichir
1 bristle nosed plec

I am not sure if it is. :D

Um... no I really dont want to return the red tailed black shark. I have had her for a while and ive really got atatched. Shes a beautiful fish. I could just put her in my empty 30 gallon, but I wanted to put her in the 75.

No. Definatly not.

The stiped peacocks are very very very docile and would hate such agressive tank mates. The RTBS or any other fish could mistake them for giant earthworms..

The problem with most all these setups happen to be the RTBS.
Keep the RTBS in the 30 or your going to be really limited on your stocking.

Ok I will put the rtbs in the 30 gallon. :D

So without the rtbs would that be okay? I dont have to get the eels but I do like them.
I forgot about my oscar idea. Was that okay?

Okay I just thought of a set up:
2 angel fish
2 rams
6 corydoras
3 black kulhi loaches
5 yoyo loaches
1 senegal Bichir

Keeping the RTBS in the 30 opens a lot of things. An oscar is okay by itself or with some armored fish in a 75. Unsure about getting that firemouth. You'll have to ask that in new world cichlids.

The angels will probably be too rough on the Senegal and Peacock eels IMO.
I considered getting angels and then decided against it. So, you can either base your tank around angels, or around docile fish with the eels, or the oscar.

You could do

1x Oscar
1x armored fish?

or

2 - 5x angels
6-X amount of corries, really as many as you like (not 100's, reasonable amount)

or

3x peacock eel
1x senegal bichir
1x Knife like I said.
1x Syno. Catfish (like a featherfinned cat)
1x False flying fox

You have for something else docile in there. Heck, the RTBS might work if you got tons of places to hide.

But keep in mind, sand substrate for eels. and DONT get the FFF if you get the RTBS.

Red Tail Black Sharks aren't nearly as aggressive as Gankutsuou puts it. Nor are the Angels.

I think they would be fine in the 75 gallon.

Having kept them together in the past, yes, they are compatible.

Angels seem to have gotten a really bad reputation around here :/ undeserved, I might add.
