Ok. What kind of cichlid can I put in a species only 14 gallon tank?

water ph = 8

I've heard talk about Juli's and the shell dwellers... can anyone tell me anything about those? How many would fit and such. Thanks!

Shellies are likely to be among the ones you will choose for your tank's water parameters. Please ask again in the old world cichlid area as people there are more likely to be able to help. i feel totally inadequate given your situation.
