I think people will be able to help you more if you give either a list of fish you're interested in or a theme for the tank. At least how many/what sizes. Its hard to be original with a ten gallon in my opinion, but if you give us a better idea of what you want, we could probably come up with something more easily.

Heterandia formosa, I was considering them. Unfortunately, my heater killed my catfish (stuck in the on position) But this list, it's perfect, I could probably take it to my LFS, thanks, it's a real help!
