Stocking Advice

Sparkling Gouramies are very sensitive and need a mature tank.
Common Pleco will eventually need 5'x2'x2' tank minimum as he can reach up to 18".
Paradise fish are fine as juveniles but should be kept in a species only tank as they mature.
Danios are a shoaling fish and should be kept in a group of 6+.

Apart from that, stocking seems fine. :good:

Thanks.

The Plec is going in my outdoor pond when the water temp increases (still frozen!!)
I'll keep an eye on the Sparkling Gouramis - Newbie Error!
Not sure what to do about the Paradise Fish. It's relatively placid at the moment, in fact it even swims up to and follows my face if I put in near the tank

So maybe I need a few more Danios.
Should I get one or two more Tiger Barbs? If so, do the regular type mix and shoal with the albinos?

Sorry for so many questions.

James.

Most Tiger Barbs shoal together, although there is no guarantee! You could up them to 8 or 10 and this should cut out any aggression towards other fish.
Not sure how well your Plec would do in an outdoor pond as they prefer a minimum temperature of 21C.
I'd definitely get more Danios as they will do better in a shoal.
As for the Paradise fish, keep a close eye on him. I kept some in a community tank and had no problems while they were young. Within a few months of owning them, they terrorised everything in the tank!

I've added some photos as requested (tried following the rules since I'm new to this as well).

Thanks, I'll try and take some better ones once the fish have settled a little. It's amazing how they shoal immediately though
